WANT TO BE IN RADIO? GREAT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY!
 
Relevant Radio is Catholic talk radio, on your dial at 100.1 FM and 1550
AM in the Milwaukee area.  Our link is at www.relevantradio.com.  
 
Currently our Port Washington station is in need of a volunteer to
"station sit" from time to time.  Our station manager at 100.1 FM WPJP
is Neil Robbins, a veteran radio station managers with years of radio
experience.  Currently we are using volunteers from parishes that
surround the area; however, we will be losing some of those volunteers
for the summer.  Neil and I thought it would be great to bring in
college kids interested in radio for several hours a week during the
summer.  This would be a good way for them to see radio at work, learn
things first hand from an experienced radio person, and be a great help
to a small station.  As you know, in smaller stations, one person wears
many hats!  Shadowing Neil may be just the thing for students who are
not sure if radio will be their lifelong career.  
 
If you are a student interested in seeing what it's like to run a radio
station and you live near the Port Washington area during the summer
months, this is the volunteer opportunity for you.  Our station in Port
Washinton is easy to access off Highway 43 via Highway 33.
