FOR GALLERY NIGHT...

When? Friday, July 29 from 5-9pm and
Saturday, July 30 from 11am-3pm 

The theme for this exhibition is:  


INDUSTRIAL REALISM

 Tylle, international artist, captures the strong beauty of industrial
productivity

 Hans Dieter Tylle is poised as the leading artist of industry,
capturing the dramatic technological changes today and in the future.
His canvases are large, reflecting the size of his subjects...intricate
in detail but always including the human element. Industries represented
include Kohler Company divisions, Charter Steel, Aluminum Casting and
Engineering Company, Res Manufacturing Company and Mechanical
Industries.

 

The Eckhart G. Grohmann Collection Man at Work at the Milwaukee School
of Engineering is the world's most comprehensive collection of its kind.
Covering four centuries, it documents, in painting and sculpture, the
evolution of organized work from manpower and horsepower to water, steam
and electrical power. These works, often commissioned by factory owners,
are both interior and exterior views.
