[SUB] SUB's FREE Pancake Event and Election Results - Tonight - Tuesday, November 7th @ 9pm - CC 3rd floor

SUB MEMBERS WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Hi Everyone:

In order to promote both the election today and SUB's election night FREE Pancake event, I am personally asking each SUB member to make an announcement in each of their classes reminding students of the following:

1) Today is Election Day
2) Polls are open from 7am until 8pm
3) If you live in the residence halls, you simply need to take your MSOE ID with you to vote (and register if you have not done so already).
4) If you live off-campus, you should go to www.milwaukee.gov (City of Milwaukee) and click on the voting icon and that will lead you to the web link where you can type in your address and it will tell you your voting location. Off-campus voters need to bring proof of residence (Drivers license, US Mail, utility/phone bill, etc. with them if they they are not registered).
5) Tonight @ 9pm on the CC 3rd floor - Join with other students tonight for FREE pancakes with red (strawberry), blue (berry), or independent maple syrup.  See how MSOE's pancake choices line up with the election results. Pancakes end at 11pm.

If at the beginning of class you ask you professor/instructor if you can make a general announcement to remind students to vote that would be great.

Hope you will all do this.  Your efforts will have an impact.  Thanks and hope you yourself will be voting today.
