We were missing a lot of people at the meeting today. This is what we went over.

 

MFSO Meeting Minutes - Monday, October 08, 2007

 

Campus Open House:  Saturday, October 13th, from 10:00am to 1:00pm

            Staffing:

·         Nick

·         Nate

We could use more volunteers, especially underclassmen because this event is primarily for high school students. 

 

            Promotional Materials:  We need to make stuff:

		*	Nick 
		*	Derrick (dave+eric) 
		*	Katie

Executive Board Actions

            We reviewed, updated, and edited the constitution.  It is posted on the website.

 

Sub-committee Formation.

            We're looking for volunteers and nominations for positions in the following groups.

            Project Group (ice robot)

·         Lead:  Eric

            VIP Dinner

·         Lead:  ???  - responsibilities are primarily organizational.

      Katie, Nick

            Vex Committee

Committee has already been formed for this year but we will need volunteers for league nights and the tournament.  

Webmaster:

 

Projected Budget  2007 - 2008

*	Ice cream  à $50? 
*	Ice robot  à 
*	T-shirt bot?  (possible combination with the ice robot) à $200? 
*	Promotional  (t-shirts, marketing displays) à about $50 
*	Vex parts/accessories à  $70 so far, typically we spend $100 
*	+ about $120 fundraising 
*	+ SGA funding

This year we would like to go on tours again. In the past, we have gone to Rockwell and GE. We have also paired up with ASME. If you know of a location that you would like to visit please send out an email.
