Welcome to the ONE-STOP SHOP OR SELL [Sale] list...your ultimate source for great deals being offered to members of the MSOE community. As a subscriber to the Sale list, you will begin receiving emails on a regular basis informing you of what's being sold by members of the MSOE community or what's available to rent in the campus area. In addition, the Sale list also provides you with an on-line place to post what you have for sale or rent. Once you subscribe, you will receive messages regarding: * ITEMS FOR SALE: (whether you are looking for a certain CD, book or not-so-often-used item, then this may be the place to find it) * FOR RENT: (looking for a new place to live or a new roommate...check the local postings here) * WANTING TO BUY: (looking for that certain dvd or cd...or that book for a course you are taking next quarter...then ask the others on this list) * LOOKING FOR EMPLOYMENT/WANTING TO HIRE: (short-term job opportunities are also posted on this list or if you have a skill or talent (painting, cleaning, computer repair, yardwork, moving, lifting) that you want to share, offer your services) * LOST SOMETHING: (check with Public Safety in case someone turned it in, but if not, then send a plea to be on the lookout to the mailing list) * GOING SOME PLACE: (heading home or visiting friends at another campus...don't want to drive or need a ride there...then see if anyone else is going in that same direction) * CHECK US OUT: (want to know of a new restaurant or business that wants MSOE students, staff and faculty for customers...then check the postings here) * MISC: (this list will also have a variety of other emails that do not quite fit with our other mailing lists, so certain ones could be a surprise) So if you are looking for the right list to send a message too...this may be the one...you'll be glad you did. Using Sale
To post a message to all the list members, send email to sale@lists.msoe.edu. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Sale
Subscribe to Sale by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
